All About Corinthian Colleges

The Corinthian Colleges is one of the largest post-secondary education companies in North America, founded in 1995 and located in Santa Ana, California. Corinthian Colleges is a publicly traded company founded by David G. Moore, Paul St. Pierre, Frank McCord, Dennis Devereux, and Lloyd Holland who were the senior managers for the National Eduacational Corporation. In 1999, the company completed an initial public offering and it operate 94 schools in 25 states in the United States and 33 schools in seven provinces in Canada with over 64,500 students.Their main mission is to help students prepare for careers that are in demand or advance in their chosen field.

Corinthian Colleges Offer short-term diploma programs and associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in high-growth occupations. Their program areas include healthcare, business, criminal justice, information technology, transportation technology and maintenance, and construction trades. In addition to this, Corinthian Colleges also offers online degree programs that include business, accounting, criminal justice, paralegal, homeland security and computer information science. As of june 30, 2006, company had 9,500 employees in North America, including 4,272 full-time and part-time faculty members.

The operational Structure of Corinthian Colleges, Inc. includes post-secondary educational divisions that prepare and place students in career-oriented jobs. Each division was developed to offer essential skills and training to students in a variety of practical fields.

Corinthian Colleges practical fields:

CDI Division:
In CDI campuses, they offer students by providing career training for entry-level occupations in health care, business, and technology. It is located across Canada, and specialize in providing students with the academic background and hands-on experience needed to start their careers.

CSi Division:
In CSi division, offers diploma programs for entry-level health care occupations such as medical assisting, medical insurance billing and coding, medical administrative assistant, dental assisting, pharmacy technician and massage therapy. Brands in this division include Everest Colleges and Everest Institute.

TSi Division:
The TSi division includes campuses that provide students with hands-on education in health care, business, criminal justice, and computer technology. Campuses in this division can offer both diploma and degree programs.

Online Learning Division:
In Online Learning Division is comprised of campuses that offer online classes full-time. They offer online classes and degree programs through Florida Metropolitan University and our Everest Colleges - Phoenix campus.
